DESCRIPTION:
From nuclear proliferation to terrorism, the Partition of India continues to haunt us even today.
This walk cum baithak is an attempt to comprehend the experience of Partition, which remains poorly understood both within & outside the subcontinent, through facts, anecdotes, poetry, literature and personal belongings.
We will also look at how Partition defines Delhi’s culture and internal geography more than anything else.
The walk will be led by Nitika (sharing a 3rd generation perspective on Partition 1947 )
Meeting Point: Purana Qila (ticket counter)
