This Saturday, @sairedilli will be conducting a night walk in Chiragh Delhi. Chiragh Delhi, a well known area of South Delhi, once upon a time was in the fourth medieval city of Delhi named Jahanpanah. The reason of existence behind this city by Sultan Muhammad Bin Tughlaq (1325-51AD). Chiragh Delhi’s history speaks about its glorious past hidden in hustle bustle lanes of contemporary era.
We’ll be having a heritage cum story walk in a minimal traced dargah of a renowned last Chishti Sufi of Delhi, Hazrat Khwaja Naseeruddin Mehmood Roshan Chiragh Dehli R.A (disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya R.A). The trail will be consisting of numerous stories of Sufi’s with the context of political, regional & spiritual essence and the role of sufi saints towards Indian Monarch (Delhi Sultanate & Mughal Empire). We will also be witnessing a highly unnoticed tomb of first Lodi Sultan Bahlol Lodi (1451-89AD).
It is here, where you can challenge your photography skills under the dark sky. So this Saturday, be a part of a memorable Sufi spiritual evening in a peaceful holy place.

How to reach :-
Take the Metro till Malviya Nagar Metro station on the Yellow line and take an auto rickshaw of ₹20 per person to Vocational College, Sheikh Sarai and if you are coming by your own cars, there is ample amount of space to park car near to the meeting point
Essentials :-
Kindly carry a ‘handkerchief’ or ‘dupatta’ as we will visit the holy shrine of Hazrat Naseeruddin Chiragh Dehli & take a bottle of water
Registered guests have to maintain physical distance and all time wearing mask and carrying a sanitizer is essential.
